Year 6 - Planetarium Visit
Tuesday 5th November 2019
On Tuesday 5th November, Year 6 enjoyed a planetarium visit where they experienced a 7m digital planetarium The excited yet wonderfully behaved pupils enjoyed a rich selection of content: peering up at the planetarium night sky; visiting the International Space Station; handling a famous meteorite and learning about black holes; a future colonised Solar System and how British scientists search for real aliens. They also experienced a 3D rollercoaster ride through space, dodging meteors and planets as they went. The children loved their experiences and still talk about it today, sharing their scientific facts with one another.
They have been praised by the company delivering the session; they have also named us on their website as an outstanding school for behaviour: https://immersive-theatres.com/education/behaviour.
