Zoolab visit Year 4
Thursday 20th April 2017
Year 4 had a very 'hands-on' experience today when they were visited by a whole range of cute (and some not so cute!) critters from the Zoolab animal company. The opportunity was all part of their science topic which focuses on habitats and adaptation.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the very knowledgeable talks that accompanied each creature and especially liked the chance they got to handle each animal (although some animals were more popular than others when it came to touching them!).
There were snakes, rats, snails and cockroaches on show (to name just a few), and they definitely served their purpose of teaching the children a great deal all about where they live in the wild and how they're adapted to their environments.
