Year 6 - Table Tennis County Final Report

Our Year 6 boy’s table tennis team won the Luton tournament on the 31^st October after some very successful matches against the other Luton Schools.  On Friday night we travelled to Lincroft Academy in Bedfordshire to attend the County Finals competition.

The boys played against four other qualifying teams from Robert Bloomfield, Hillborough and two teams from Bedford Preparatory School.

Each of our four players competed in two matches against different opponents, playing 8 matches in total against each of our opponents.  The boys were excellent not only in their performances during matches but also assisting with the scoring and supporting their team players.

Against the majority of schools we held the lead by a considerable amount winning seven out of the eight matches. 

Due to the focus and determination shown throughout this competition the Chantry team are County Champions again this year and will progress through to the Zone Finals in January.
