Year 6 Greek experience

Currently, Year 6 are studying Ancient Greece and as it's not quite possible for them to travel to Ancient Greece to see what living in that time period, instead, Ancient Greece came to them!

Each class was delivered a very special and exciting activity box, which when combined with watching the engaging accompanying videos, ensured the children learnt a whole plethora of new information about the ancient civilisation. 

There was wreath making, creating clay trinkets, soap-carving, mosaic tile designs and food-tasting; all activities giving the children a super insight into life 2000+ years ago. It was a terrific day and one which really absorbed the year group into their new learning!
