Year 6 Fantastic Finish

After an exciting half-term of reading the Cornish short story collection, 'The White Horse of Zennor', Year 6 pupils finished their learning with a very practical cookery session, making some delicious Cornish pasties! The children used the traditional ingredients of beef, potatoes, carrots, swede and onions and enjoyed 'crimping' their pasty's pastry to make sure it was sealed (which had varying degrees of success!).  All pasties turned out fantastically, and we received some 5 star reviews for how tasty they were!
