Year 5 WOW - Ancient Greek Day

Thursday 27th February 2025

Our fantastic visitor began the day by sharing stories about Ancient Greece and their gods by getting children involved in some drama. Each class then had a chance to complete a quiz about the Ancient Greeks, completed an Archimedes puzzle and played an Ancient Greek board game.

In the afternoon, children had the chance to see a range of different weapons and armour (from a safe distance) before taking part in a democratic vote and being involved in a Mini-Olympics.

All in all, a day packed with fun and learning!
