Year 5 Schools' Linking Project
Wednesday 22nd November 2017
Discus and Tokyo classes had a terrific time when they visited Dell Farm to meet up for the first time with their 'Schools' Linking' partners from Whitefield Primary. The Schools' Linking Project pairs up classes from different Luton schools, who then spend the whole year working together, exchanging information, attending visits together and getting to know each other very well!
During their first meet today, the children were placed into mixed groups, which encouraged lots of new friendships to be made whilst completing a range of activities. These included orienteering where the children worked in 3s and 4s to show off their map reading skills; shelter building where the groups had to race against the clock to build a waterproof shelter and team games too!
It was a wonderful experience for every child who took part and one which has set the foundation for a great year to come!
