Year 4 WOW - Caribbean Topic

As a part of their Caribbean topic, Year 4 were lucky enough to have the opportunity to learn how to play the steel pan drums. They learnt and performed a rhythm that turned out to be the chorus for ‘Every breath you take’ by the Police. They were also treated to a performance by a steel pan drum musician who entertained them with a variety of music styles from reggae to pop! The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and were able to get a true flavour of Caribbean carnival music
