Year 3 - Warwick Castle

Tuesday 7th November 2017

Once upon a time, Tuesday 7th November to be exact, Year 3 went to Warwick castle as part of their WOW factor visit.

Whilst the weather was not on their side, they still had a wonderful day. The children were proud representatives of the school and showed Chantry’s values as they walked around the castle.

They explored the tall towers, climbed the hundreds of steps that led them around the castle walls and explored the horrible histories maze. Luckily, they didn’t get lost and managed to escape, just like Hansel and Gretel. Phew!

After a long day of walking and investigating, they all went back to school, happily , ever after.

It’s safe to say that all of the classes were inspired by the majestic setting surrounding them and are now looking forward to using their experience to create some fantastic pieces of writing.
