Year 2 WOW - Woburn Safari Park
Wednesday 6th March 2019
We went to Woburn Safari Park to meet the amazing animals and learn more about animal habitats and adaptations. On our road safari, we saw the dangerous lions, tigers and black bears up close. In the African forest several mischievous monkeys climbed onto our coach. It was extremely funny watching them play. We entered the sea lion cove, lemur land and penguin kingdom and even had the chance to stroke a lizard and snake. It was very exciting!
During our lunch, we became surrounded by chickens. They ran under our feet trying to eat any crumbs that we left behind. After lunch we went to Rainbow landing where we fed the beautiful birds some sweet nekton. It was so exciting watching the coloured parrots fly above us and one land on our arms, which filled us with excitement. It was a wonderful day seeing the animals up close!
