Today the children were busy designing and creating their own lighthouses. This was to celebrate the last half terms learning around the work of Grace Darling and the development of the modern RNLI.
The children have been exploring the architecture of lighthouses and looking for differences and similarities in the designs. The lighthouses were constructed using Modroc and some recycled materials. There were some fabulous designs with very colourful features! Parents were invited to join us and share in the creative processes.
The results were amazing!
