Year 2 - Green Watch Fire Service Visit

This week, Year 2 were lucky enough to have a visit from the Green Watch Fire Service.

The firefighters came into the classrooms to teach the children about fire safety.  Perry the firefighter, talked to the children about the equipment they wear and use to make sure they are safe and protected and how we can stay safe in our homes.  We then went outside to learn about the fire engines and all the tools onboard.  At the end of our fantastic visit, the children had the opportunity to see what it was like to be a firefighter and try holding the hose!

It was a very interesting and exciting visit!
