Year 2 Dell Farm residential
Friday 5th May - Saturday 6th May 2017
A group of very excited Year 2 pupils made the short journey to Whipsnade today as they visited the fantastic Dell Farm outdoor education centre.
Whilst there, the children took part in a whole range of engaging activities, including caving, making and hiding clay nocturnal animals, taking part in a night walk around Whipsnade and playing the 'Dell Farm Fox' game (whilst getting soaked with water pistols in the process!). Of course, they also had the chance to meet, feed and groom the friendly farm animals too.
It was also great to see the children putting to use their independence skills through bed-making, laying tables and having to be in the right place at the right times- very impressive for 6 & 7 year olds.
It was definitely a wonderful (but tiring!) experience for everyone and there were certainly some exhausted looking children when we arrived back to school on Saturday morning!
