Year 1 WOW - Visit to Whipsnade Zoo

Year 1 children had an exciting visit to Whipsnade Zoo, where they saw a wide range of incredible animals, including giraffes, rhinos, and a family of lions with two lionesses and seven playful cubs. They also enjoyed watching penguins, bears splashing in the water, lively chimpanzees, and elegant flamingos. The children were thrilled by the experience, and seeing the animals up close helped bring their classroom learning about African animals to life. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to connect what they’ve been learning in school with real-world experiences, making it both fun and educational.
