Year 1 WOW - Puppet Workshop

Year 1 had a visit from Pirate Ron who presented a pirate show that they absolutely loved! They used their voices to join in with the show and help his puppet companion navigate the seas. Later, they went back to their classrooms to create their very own puppets using a paper bag. These were brilliant and they used them to act out their own plays with their friends.

This was a great start to Year 1's History unit all about toys and their Design Technology lessons where they developed their sewing skills to create a puppet.

Lots of fun and learning took place!
