World Book Day event week

We had a terrific time this week, celebrating World Book Day (not just for one day though, but over the whole week!). This year, as expected, there was a mix of both virtual events and hands-on activities taking place at home and also in school. We had virtual author visits from Stewart Ross and Margaret Bateson-Hill, craft activities, story-telling, dressing-up and illustration tutorials; all of which were thoroughly enjoyed by pupils across the school. Well done to everyone who took part and immersed themselves in the love of reading!
