VI - Football
Wednesday 19th June 2019
This morning the children from our VI provision enjoyed an outdoor games morning. We enjoyed playing Chinese whispers whilst doing laps of our very own woodland walk. We played skittles in house teams and we enjoyed a very competitive football game with staff and children all playing together.
The game ended in a penalty shoot out with amazing effort from all of the children. We had a snack break in the yurt after admiring the flower beds, one of which was created by the children in the VI provision during their art therapy sessions with Mrs Couch. The children talked about what they felt thankful for and what they have done this year to feel proud of themselves. Some of the answers were; I feel proud of my hard work in the SAT's, I am thankful for my mum sending me to this school, I am proud of my handwriting and I am thankful for my family.
The children were enthusiastic and fun and remained very well behaved throughout the morning and it was a lovely team boosting time. Well done everyone!
