School Council
School council is an important role within our school. Every child was given the opportunity to become a school councillor through a presentation to their class before they were democratically voted to become the school councillor of their class. The school councillors can be recognised by the ‘School Council’ badge that they proudly wear. They are supported by Mr Gurney.
The school council has five sub-teams: Teaching and learning, Going Green, Keeping Children Safe, Fundraising, Outdoor and Indoor environment. Each sub team has a responsibility to meet, discuss and create ideas to improve our school in their area. They will then meet as a whole school council once a month to feedback and discuss the changes that have been made.
All of the school councils are excellent role models and expertly show the school values every day. They are fantastic at listening to the ideas and thoughts of their classes and can confidently share these ideas with the school council.
We are proud of the hard work they have been doing to improve the school for everyone.
