Nursery WOW - Pirate and Mermaid Party

Tuesday 14th January 2020 

Today the children were invited to come dressed up as either a mermaid, pirate or something related to our topic of Under the Sea. The costumes were fantastic and the children were very excited. There were lots of activities for the children to explore including a role play pirate ship, looking for buried treasure, playing with the mermaids in the water and walking the plank!

The children had the opportunity to have their face or arm painted and at the end of the session they all sat down to enjoy the party food. Mrs Malone made a themed cake for all of the children too. Hopefully this has got all the children enthused about learning about our story of The Rainbow Fish and finding out facts about what lives under the sea!
