Year 5 - Science WOW!

Year 5 had experienced an amazing “Hands on Science” WOW linking to their text for this term the BFG. The pupils took part in a range of experiments including making a salt solution which would enable an egg to float, mixing chemicals together to create a chemical reaction that ignited and investigating how fire needs oxygen to fuel it. All the children were extremely enthusiastic and this has shown through in their topic work and further science investigations that they have taken part in this term in class.
