Year 5-6 Cross Country

A cold, wet morning at Stockwood Park was what in store for our Year 5 & 6’s as they participated in the town Cross Country event. Separate boys and girl races comprising of one two kilometre lap on wet, muddy ground saw our five boys and four girls competing against other primary schools and also Year 7 students from around the local area. Our team showed great determination and resilience to complete the course in a good set of times, pushing all the way on a very hard course. Special mention must go to Chanel who finished 10th in the girls race, meaning she progresses to the County Finals in Ampthill. Well done to everyone who attended, a very hard competition and not made easier by facing up against high school children!
