Year 4 Wow! - Junk Music Day

This half term Year 4 have been reading ‘The Paperbag Prince’ which explores the topic of reusing, reducing and recycling.

Through our personal well being lessons we talked about how the world’s resources are distributed and how some countries are very environmentally conscious and create very little waste. We realise it is the responsibility of everyone to take care of our planet.

During our wow day, pupils thought about how we could use recyclable resources to make musical instruments. Then in groups they wrote their own raps and songs which were performed.
