Year 4 - Dodgeball competition
Wednesday 17th January 2018
Wednesday morning saw 12 of Chantry's year 4 pupils head to Inspire to compete in in their annual dodgeball competition. Split into 2 teams (Reds & Blues) our children were given two tough groups to compete in. The Chantry Reds started brightly unfortunately coming up short against Wigmore, before battling to a draw against River Bank. The team showed great positivity and determination in games against Sundon Park, Ferrars and St Margaret's before finishing with 2 well deserved victories against 2 of Beech Hill's teams, to earn a 5th place finish.
The Chantry Blues showed great focus and unity throughout starting their group with 3-0 wins against William Austin and Denbigh, before narrowly losing to Beech Hill. The Blues returned to winning ways with hard fought wins against Stopsley and Southfield, before a top of the table clash against Downside, with Chantry showing great hunger and desire to come out on top and managing a 2-1 victory to ensure a 1st Place finish in their group.
Well done to both teams for your hard work and determination, you should all be very proud of your efforts.
