Year 3/4 - Athletics Quadkids Finals

Wednesday 27th June 2018

Today some of schools top Year 3/4 athletes competed in the Athletics Quadkids County Finals at Bedford International Athletics Stadium. Having already qualified in first place from the Luton regionals to attend this tournament, high hopes were put on this tournament. The children competed in four disciplines, 50m Sprint, Howler Vortex Throw, 400m Long Distance Run and Long Jump.

The top schools from all over the county attended, making the competition for medals fierce. However our athletes performed at their highest levels, pushing themselves as hard as they could across all the events. After a very tough competition Chantry Primary Academy managed to finish at the top of the podium in a resounding first place!

Congratulations to the children who attended, you are County Champions! You should be very proud of what you have achieved.
