School Council Presentation

Today Mrs Lloyd took the year 5 school council members to Downside Primary School. The children joined Downside for an assembly where they presented the West Area Partnership art project.

The West Area Partnership is a group of schools in the west of Luton; this includes Chantry, Downside, Ferrars and Southfield amongst several other schools. Each year the partnership hold a conference day for members of the school council, part of the day includes creating an art piece together in harmony. Each part of the project was put together by Challney Girls school and the amazing work you can see was created! The art now tours the schools in the area, spending a half term in each school.

 We were very proud to present the project to the staff and children at Downside today!
