Nursery - Mini Beast WOW Factor

On the first day back after the Easter holidays there was a surprise waiting for the children. We had taken delivery of some very tiny caterpillars.

Over the half term the children were able to observe the caterpillars eating their special food and growing very rapidly.

Then they turned into chrysalises. The children had to show the value of patience to wait for them to change again and emerge as butterflies. The children were very excited when they had the chance to hold a butterfly before we released them.
