Girls Football Year 5/6

Last week, a selection of our Girls Football team went up to Stopsley to compete in a girls football tournament against thirty other schools from within Luton.

Our girls played exceptionally well, winning all our group games without conceding a goal! 7-0, 5-0, 3-0, 4-0 and 7-0. This meant we progressed to the quarter finals against Putteridge who we beat 5-0, meaning we went on to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals we faced a very strong Ferrars team who unfortunately after extra time beat us 2-1. The girls should be very proud of themselves and what they achieved over the tournament, scoring twenty nine goals in seven games and only conceding two in the whole tournament. A massive well done to all of them!
