Mead Open Farm Christmas Kingdom

Wow- what a super time a group of Reception and Key Stage 1 children had today when the visited Mead Open Farm to experience their magical Christmas Kingdom! The whole farm had been decorated with a very 'Christmassy' feel, including an amazing walk through 'Winter Wonderland' area, an Elf Academy show, a 3D Christmas film and even Santa's own toy workshop! (And of course, the children paid a special visit to the big man himself who allowed each child to choose their own gift from his special workshop). 

As well as all of the seasonal attractions, the children also got to enjoy all the animals as well as the fantastic indoor and outdoor play areas, which helped to use up a lot of energy indeed! It was a wonderful day out and one which was wholeheartedly enjoyed by all who took part.
