Luton Town players visit!
Thursday 20th April 2017
It was a very exciting time at Chantry today when we were paid a visit by 2 of Luton Town FC's skillful players Danny Hylton & Jake Gray! They came along with their friend Allan who is the secretary of the Luton Town Disabled Supporters' Association. They were here for a very special reason; as a reward for competition winner Hamza's winning entry to name the new audio descriptive service offered to blind and visually impaired Hatters' supporters! Hamza's entry, 'Hatter's Vision' was the number one choice and so won the competition and is now the name of this exciting new service.
The trio came in, and as well as meeting Hamza, also met up with the other competition entrants, whose offerings came in 2nd, 4th and 5th places too...amazing! The children asked some brilliant questions to both LTFC players as well as some probing questions to Allan about how the football club supports disabled fans.
What an amazing experience!
