Luton Carnival 2017

There was a real party atmosphere in the air today when 30 Chantry superstars entered the annual Luton International Carnival! 

Just like last year, we were lucky enough to be able to team up with Luton Town Football Club to enter this fantastic event, who helped us out by organising carnival arts workshops, providing replica kits for all the children and even letting us use a specially decorated LTFC car (which Mr Kelly was over the moon with!).

Even though we had to meet at school early on a Sunday morning, the children were full of energy, which seemed to last the entire day as they danced and bopped their way around the carnival route, moving along to some seriously funky tunes! They were especially good at performing their 'Match of the Day' routine in front of the onlooking judges half-way round, impressing them in the process.

We were amazingly proud of the children today, who represented both Chantry and the football club magnificently, seemingly demonstrating every one of our school values! An enormous well done to everyone!
