Looking Towards the Future

Eleven of our Year 5 & 6 pupils, who are completing their Red Pine Outdoor Award in Mr Day’s Forest School club, planted over one hundred trees at the end of our school field.

Managing to take only an hour to complete the task, the children planted a mixture of Rowan, Silver Birch, Hawthorne and Oak trees. We hope the trees will grow nice and big, so we are able to have a forest area of our own, for us to use for lessons and within after school clubs.

A BIG thank you for the HUGE effort put in by the children to complete such a GIGANTIC task which will have a massive impact on the future learning of the children in our school!
