We will be finding out about ourselves and our families and our friends. We will discuss our similarities and differences between ourselves and others. We will explore our senses and how we use them.

In this unit, we will look at different versions of traditional tales and we learn some sign language to help us tell the stories aloud. The children also follow instructions to make a Gingerbread Man, grow cress and make a jam sandwich.
Spring 1 - Our Wonderful World

In this unit, we explore the wonderful world that is around us. We look at different environments to where we live and discuss cultural differences and similarities we may share.

The children learn about a variety of plants, how to look after plants and what they need to grow well. We learn about fruits and vegetables and healthy eating.
