Indoor surfing fun

A group of Key Stage 2 pupils showed great determination this evening as they took part in an adrenaline-fuelled indoor surfing session in Bedford. The children were very excited to have been selected to attend and this was evident in a very lively minibus journey to the venue! Once there, the children donned their wetsuits and bounded out into the surfing area where they were wowed by the rushing water of the indoor surfing machine.

The next hour was full of fun (and gallons of water!) as the children were taught how to safely use the boards, before being shown how to perform tricks...simple ones at first before moving onto some harder ones! The children loved the experience, and as well as being determined to succeed, they displayed a great amount of humour in the process too! Great work everyone.
