Ian Rose- Paralympian visits Chantry
Wednesday 24th January 2018
We had a very exciting, inspirational visit today from Paralympic ace Ian Rose, who came in to lead a fantastic workshop with our visually impaired pupils before running our Key Stage 2 assembly. Both events were amazingly well-received by our pupils who loved hearing of Ian's resilience, determination and positivity in helping him to achieve his goals in life. Even though Ian has been visually impaired since birth himself, he made it clear this was never going to get in his way of achieving his goals, and consequently, Ian has represented Great Britain at several Paralympic Games!
Ian was a wonderful guest to our school and clearly embodies practically all of our school values and we'd welcome him back at any time!
