Debating competition

A mix of pupils from Years 1-6 gathered at Challney Boys' High School today to participate in the 'West Area' debating competition. The children had to present an argument for why their charity (Diabetes UK) should be selected to receive support from the West Area schools. So pupils from Years 1-2 and 3-6 got together into 2 separate teams and came up with their presentations (that included images, music, posters and audience participation!). Both our teams did exceptionally well, with our older pupils taking 3rd place and our younger pupils winning, coming n 1st place!

Well done to both teams who represented the school fantastically well; we're very proud of them!
