Our Key Stage 2 VI (visually impaired) pupils had a terrific experience today when they made the short journey to Redbourn to watch the magical Circus Starr performance. The children were extra lucky as they were testing out the audio description service (where the whole show was described to them through headsets!) as well as taking part in a 'touch tour'. The touch tour gave the children the opportunity to meet the performers, go into the performance area and familiarise themselves with everything that would be happening in the show-it was fantastic! The children then settled down to watch the spectacular show and sat brilliantly. listening intently to the detail they were hearing. It was an amazing, immersive experience for the pupils, who absolutely loved their trip out!
