Carnival Workshop session one

Friday 28th April 2017

We began our journey to the Luton International Carnival today when 30 pupils visited the Carnival Arts Centre to start work on their costumes and accessories! Once again, we're teaming up with Luton Town FC to participate and representatives from the football club joined us to help prepare. Unsurprisingly, the theme is football and the children absolutely loved making the collars, spinners, headwear and trophies that'll be used at the event. 

The children were extremely creative with their ideas and everyone got 'stuck in' and played their part in the designing and making process (there were so many bits to make, they didn't really have much choice!).

We have another workshop next week, before then heading down to the football club to pick up the kits the children will be wearing and begin learning our dance routines!
