Big Trunk Trail - update
Friday 14th May 2021
You may remember we received delivery of a lovely-looking (but very plain) elephant recently, to be decorated in aid of the 'Big Trunk Trail' for Keech Hospice. Our pupils set to work creating designs, some of which would eventually be painted onto the elephant, ready for it to join 50 other elephants on the Big Trunk Trail across Luton, later this year.
Well the designs were passed over to 2 local artists (Lois and Rachel) who have been meticulously painting the different elements onto our elephant, which we have decided to name 'Hope'. We were delighted today, to receive some updates of how the painting has been going, and we're sure you'll agree, that it's looking absolutely amazing! So much colour and vibrancy, and it's remarkable how so many factors of the children's designs are being incorporated into the final piece. We cannot wait to see what how the elephant turns out, but we have no doubt that it will be breath-taking!
